The 2003 San Antonio Roses were formed from the 2003 Talon Girls who cheered for the NAFL San Antonio Talons Football Organization for a single game in their short 2003 season.  The 2003 San Antonio Roses were the first squad to officially hold the name "San Antonio Roses".
