The 2002 Talon Cheerleaders were never officially known as the 2002 San Antonio Roses.  Half of the members were previously 2001 Lightning Cheerleaders and the squad changed its name to match the name change of the football team.  Because of the pending birth of her youngest daughter, Cynthia Trinidad passed the directorship to 3-year veteran Jennifer Salazar (pictured lower right).  The 2002 Talon Cheerleaders cheered for the NAFL San Antonio Talons Football Organization.
