The 2000 Matador Cheerleaders were never officially known as the 2000 San Antonio Roses but the squad was the second in a string of squads directed by Cynthia Trinidad which eventually became the format for the San Antonio Roses.  The 2000 Matador Cheerleaders were professional football cheerleaders that cheered exclusively for the SFL San Antonio Matadors Football Organization.
