The San Antonio Roses attended the "Real Deal" Workshop in Houston, TX on March 19, 2011. During the workshop they had the opportunity to work along side members of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders and learned short routines from directors of numerous pro teams including: Alto Gary - NFL Houston Texans Cheerleader Director, Derric Whitfield - WPFL Houston Energy Dance Team Director, Angela Marchette - SIFL Houston Stallions Cheerleader Director, and Brandii McCoy - Director for NBA Charlotte LadyCats and AHL Charlotte Checkmates. The Roses director, Cynthia Trinidad, former NFL Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and NBA Spurs Dancer, also spoke to the attendees about the do's and don'ts of pro cheerleader auditions.

Jaclyn was chosen as one of the models in the Real Deal fashion show and Araceli won one of the door prizes. The ladies enjoyed the wonderful gifts from the many sponsors on hand including: Peavey Hosiery, My Fit Foods, Advocare, and Josephine's Day Spa (Aveda).
