Members of the San Antonio Roses cheered on the Great Day SA - Turkey Olympics on November 24, 2010. KENS 5 sports announcer Joe Reinagle called the race as Great Day SA hosts Bridget "Too Smooth" Smith, Eileen "Pumkin Pie" Teves, and Natalie "Twinkle Toes" Tejeda competed. It was a close race (at the beginning) but Natalie blew it wide open half way through to take the trophy. The frozen turkeys were donated to the annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner.

The Roses had a blast and were able to meet Roses alumnus and Great Day SA Executive Producer Cassandra Lazenby.
